Luncheons

Annual Elections and Appointment of Officers

Each year, member's nominations for Directors are normally taken by April and elections are conducted by May.  Elected Directors should appoint Officers before the annual business meeting in June.  All officials are expected to have high ethical convictions and be prepared to dedicate time to the association’s processes of event planning and luncheons.

Directors

At least one Director should be a mortgage banker, and each member may have at most one Director elected to the board.  Any member who would like to hold a Director position may nominate itself, however, personally and not by company name.  Any such person should have ideas in mind for the future of the association and success of its endeavors. 

Officers: 

The President must be a mortgage banker.  Officers are expected to carry out the plans of the association as the directors may dictate, and maintain clear and accurate records of all expenses, meetings, event planning.  Any member who is interested in holding an Officer position is encouraged to contact any director of the association.  The present directors are responsible for conveying all such interest to new directors upon their election.  Existing officers are expected to convey accurate records to their successors.

Annual Business Meeting

The official business meeting of this association is held in June.  At this meeting, new directors and officers are introduced, financial reports and minutes from the last annual business meeting are read.  Members are encouraged to present their ideas for future events at this meeting.

Special Events

As our volunteer directors and officers are subject to change from year to year, the nature of our special events is also subject to change.  It is the consensus of our present officials that the association should strive to conduct at least two special and notable events per year.  Membership dues and participation from our members are required to accomplish this goal.  

Annual Membership Dues

Notice of membership dues is normally given by July.  Existing members should receive notice of the annual amount and deadline in June.  Please click the Membership button for more information or select this Dues link.
