Local business entities that provide services and support
for real estate mortgage loan transactions through the origination, processing,
settlement, funding, insuring, purchasing of mortgage loans, and insuring
mortgaged real estate are eligible for membership.
Each member is expected to provide service at the highest
level of legal and professional integrity known to the officials and members of
this association, as well as the greater mortgage industry. The elected
directors are charged with the responsibility of membership approval on behalf
of the association and according to the existing bylaws.
Each business entity may be approved for one membership in
this association, regardless of the number of affiliated businesses one may
control or operate. Each member is permitted one vote on voting matters and
each vote is counted with equal weight.
Any issues concerning membership eligibility and voting
rights are subject to the directors’ final collective decision.
By submitting an
application for membership the applicant/business agrees that if its membership
is denied for any reason, the applicant/business waives any legal action against
the Mortgage Bankers Association of Huntsville and its officials. If these
terms are not agreeable to the applicant or his/her company, contact a director
of the association.
